4 flat plates by Bernardaud, Limoges porcelain, floral decoration from the 1920s to 1950s.

Lot 1 - Charming set of 4 antique/vintage flat plates made of very fine white Limoges porcelain, translucent in light, stamped B & C°, Bernardaud and Company, produced between the 1920s and 1950s. Elegant octagonal model with a wide rim, typical Art Deco shape. Multicoloured floral transfer decoration, with a blue border around the edge, spring-like, warm, cheerful, and traditional. 24.7 cm in diameter and 2.5 cm in height. Very good used condition, although the decorations show some slight manufacturing defects and wear to the transfer and border. No chips or cracks, just a few very light and discreet utensil marks. Some light usage patina on certain pieces, and one with a manufacturing defect where a small inner area appears "sanded", which is not bothersome and discreet. Approximately 250g per piece. Hand washing recommended, occasional dishwasher use is fine on a gentle, low-temperature cycle.
