Set of 4 Sistina Strap Chair by Tito Agnoli for Matteo Grassi, 1980s

These exceptional chairs were designed by tito agnoli for matteo grassi in the 1980s. The burgundy-colored leather is wrapped over an internal steel frame. Beautifully shaped, these chairs look as if they were carved out of one piece of material. The leather developed a beautiful patina that provides each chair with a unique look. Heavy tear on one of the seats, and light wear and tear on the leather surfaces in general. There is a black plastic element at the meeting point of the leather pieces, one of which is broken.
