Space Age pendant light by Herbert Proft, produced by Limburg, 1960s-70s

Very beautiful and important pendant light circa 1970 by designer herbert proft published by the very famous german manufacturer limburg (label in the barrel) in the space age spirit of this period. Tubular gallery in chrome-plated brass supporting a very beautiful and important semi-spherical globe curved on the underside in milky white opaline (magnificent soft light), the whole being suspended by a steel cable coupled with the electric wire. The opaline measures 32 cm in diameter and 16 cm in height, the chrome-plated shaft 9 cm in diameter and 28 cm in height, the ceiling light in black satin metal (changed) 10 cm in diameter and 5 cm in height. The light is adjustable in height up to 120 cm. In perfect condition and of exceptional quality, this superb pendant light will bring a real 70's chic touch to an entrance or above a dining table.
