Coffee table with "Smorrebrod" system, Arne Vodder, Denmark

Coffee table "smorrebrod" oval shape in teak, liftable, with extension, by designer arne vodder (1926-2003) (denmark). A metal mechanism makes it possible to raise the table to transform it into a table for 6 to 8 people. An unlocking system allows the table to be used in the high position without the extension cord. See the photos. The top is veneered teak plated and the base in solid oak. The table is 50 cm high in the low position and 73 cm in the high position. The tray is 111 cm long in the closed position and 166 cm long with the extension, 85 cm wide. In a very good vintage state of conservation, with some traces of wear and a scratch on the tray.
