Ceiling light with forged gold nails and opaque white glass, 1950s.

Ceiling light in gold forged nails and white opaque domed glass, 1950s. Diameter: 32.5 cm. Height: 8.5 cm. Elegant vintage ceiling light in a circular shape, composed of a gilded metal structure adorned with numerous metal nails resembling sun rays, and a central diffuser in opaline glass. Overall good condition. Note a slight patina on the metal. The gilding is not uniform: this effect is intentional and adds depth to the whole. The opaline has two minor defects: a small bubble inside the glass and a tiny chip on one edge. The latter is not visible once the ceiling light is installed, as this part is hidden by the metal structure.
