Grand chandelier Rupert Nikoll 27" mid-century brass with leaves, Austria, 1950.

A large and beautiful modernist Austrian pendant light in brass, designed and manufactured by Rupert Nikoll in Vienna in the 1950s. This impressive piece, with a diameter of 27 inches, features curved white acrylic leaves arranged in a circle around the fixture. Between the leaves are arched brass stems, each topped with a round cut crystal ball. A round acrylic diffuser is mounted at the bottom and secured by a large decorative brass knob. The pendant offers eight light sources, six at the top providing ambient light upwards, and two beneath the diffuser creating a soft and pleasant illumination. It is in very good vintage condition with a slight patina on the brass. Currently, the total height is 22 inches, adjustable upon request.
