Plateau and its 4 ceramic workshop bowls - green Geneva

Ceramic workshop set consisting of a handled platter and four small bowls, in a nuanced Geneva green, accented with chocolate brown tones. The slightly vibrant glaze reveals an expressive firing technique and a beautiful depth of material. The platter, with a wide rim and integrated curved handle, gives the set a strong presence. The bowls, with simple and slightly flared shapes, rest on a discreet small pedestal. The set offers a natural coherence, balancing form and richness of colour. Suitable for multiple uses: bowls for sauces, verrines or desserts, coffee cups, as well as egg cups, for a playful and elegant table. No brand or origin indicated. In good vintage condition, with slight irregularities in the glazing, a tiny chip on the chocolate rim next to the base of the platter's handle and one on the edge of the handle (see photos). Platter: diameter 20 cm, height including handle 10 cm. Bowls: height 4.5 cm, diameter 5 cm. For a minimalist table, where the ceramic asserts a strong presence and becomes a graphic element in a mineral and textured palette.
