Elegant duo of glazed stoneware bowls signed by the Hurtault Workshop. Ceramicists based in Burgundy, Nathalie and Christophe Hurtault are part of the great tradition of Puisaye stoneware within the family workshop founded in 1976. Their work combines technical mastery with a sober contemporary style, where the material takes precedence. These two pieces perfectly illustrate this approach: soft and enveloping shape, correct proportions, discreet foot, ivory white glaze nuanced with subtle mineral punctuations. The small reserves revealing the brown clay add rhythm and depth, showcasing the firing and the material. The slightly speckled interior delicately captures the light. The whole exudes a silent, almost meditative presence — a utilitarian ceramic transformed into an object of contemplation. Incised stamps under the base mark the artisanal production of the Hurtault Workshop. In excellent condition. Diameter 9.5 cm, height 6 cm. An authentic duo of Puisaye stoneware, ideal for a minimalist, Japandi table.
