Rare and spectacular desk lamp model B 54, designed by the Swedish master Hans-Agne Jakobsson for his workshop in Markaryd in the early 1950s. This luminaire stands out for its slender and functional design, typical of Scandinavian modernism. Its solid teak structure with solid brass details and its white lacquered metal shade features an impressive 61 cm arm, allowing for precise light orientation. Its cylindrical shade provides direct and targeted lighting, ideal for a refined workspace or a library. It is a piece of great finesse that perfectly combines precision mechanics and luxurious aesthetics. Designer: Hans-Agne Jakobsson. Model: B 54 (stamped under the base). Materials: Solid teak, solid brass, and lacquered metal. Condition: Superb vintage condition. The patina of the brass is even and elegant. The mechanism works perfectly - small piece missing at the teak.
