A painter inspired by his flat country, with something of bernard buffet. Martin neirynck (1936-1996) was professor of plastic education at the former catholic university of bruges-ostend and at the sint andreas teacher training college in bruges. He himself studied at the sint thomas institute in brussels. He had his studio in sint hubertuslaan in sint andries. His works are held in important private collections in his own country, but also in germany, france, great britain, sweden, the netherlands and canada. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions, but has also exhibited individually in bruges, blankenberge, damme, brussels and knokke.
