Minakari vase

Very fine iranian vase in the minakari technique. Probably in isfahan. Shape: the vase has a slender silhouette with a flared and scalloped neck, typical of contemporary iranian production inspired by traditional models. Decoration: the body of the vase is decorated with a diamond lattice pattern, each diamond containing very detailed floral elements in blue, red and white on an ivory background. The neck is painted on a deep blue background, with fine arabesques and star motifs, reminiscent of safavid and qajar art. The whole is meticulously executed, showing great mastery of minakari, a complex enameling applied to ceramic or metal. Inscription in farsi "decorated and handcrafted in iran". Very good condition, no cracks or breaks.
