Metal umbrella stand with rigitulle and brass from the 1950s.

A 1950s umbrella stand, in the style of Mathieu Mategot, which combines metal rods with a perforated sheet system. Like the fabric, Rigitulle can be folded and shaped to give the furniture it designs transparency, weightlessness, and timeless modernity. The base is made of gilded metal, while the other finishes are in brass. The brass and gilded metal show a certain patina as well as signs of oxidation. The structure of the umbrella stand is in good condition, although it does show wear consistent with its age and use. Weight 1.415kg.
