Antique repoussé brass umbrella stand

Antique brass umbrella stand, with an original shape reminiscent of a closed umbrella. The body is made up of several brass panels adorned with raised floral and leafy patterns, created using the repoussé technique. A long central rod ends in an elegant handle shaped like a umbrella grip. The whole piece rests on a weighted circular brass base. A very decorative and uncommon antique piece, ideal for an entrance or vestibule. Beautiful nuanced patina with some marks and variations in hue related to age and use. The interior remains in its original condition, bronze in colour. Height 90cm, diameter 39cm, base diameter 16cm, weight 3.720kg.
