Kohn chair no. 248 with bent wood, viennese secession, around 1905 - no thonet -

Kohn Chair No. 248a with caning. Model produced from 1902 to 1914. It was reissued by Thonet-Mundus (and Kohn) in 1925 with a round seat. The No. 248 is the bistro model with a seat measuring 36X38 cm, while the No. 248a presented here is the more luxurious version with a seat measuring 41X42 cm. It can be used daily due to its elegance, lightness, and ergonomics. A variation of the model 248a exists depending on the production factory or the years: stamp and label under the seat. Manual caning in excellent condition, like new (maximum 1 year). Dimensions: 92 cm, Seat: 41X42 cm; Seat height: 47.5 cm. More photos and information available upon request.
