Decorative ceramic vase. Belgian production featuring a polychrome drip glaze decoration on a fully glazed background. The vase is enhanced by a finely crafted gilt brass mount. The study of the style, glazing technique, and shape allows us to date this vase to the first third of the 20th century, likely in the 1920s. Attribution to the Thulin pottery can be considered, as this Belgian manufacturer is particularly known for this type of decorative research around drip glazes during that period. The quality of execution is remarkable: the glaze, applied thickly and skillfully, intentionally reveals vertical drips, creating a very lively interplay of colours and textures. The elegantly designed gilt brass mount accentuates the shape of the vase and reflects a refined decorative intent, typical of the carefully crafted productions of the interwar period. Dimensions: – Height: 24.5 cm – Diameter: 11 cm Condition: very good overall condition. No notable defects to report. Please carefully observe the photographs, which are an integral part of the description. Shipping with careful packaging.
