A pair of gilded bronze and patinated metal chenets in the Louis XVI style. A decoration simulating a fluted column base, topped with a tripod cassolette resembling a fire pot and a pine cone. Applied decoration of vines and laurels. An old Louis XVI work executed around 1840. Iron fittings are included. These chenets are a copy of an example preserved at the Louvre from the Louis XVI period under reference OA 10535 (see photo). A very beautiful, prestigious, and decorative model. H X W X D = 42 X 42 X 25 cm.
