Set of 2 vintage folding chairs

Antique folding chairs, estimated to be from the late 19th century / very early 20th century. Chairs with atypical curves. Solid wood structure (beech or oak), dark stained, with original patina. Folding mechanism in perfect condition: smooth, stable, without play. Seat and backrest upholstered in old green velvet, with braid and period nails. Wooden slats under the seat. There was a period protective foam that has deteriorated over time but was not necessary for functionality. I have almost entirely removed it. Old hardware (rivet axes, no modern screws). Estimated manufacture 1895–1915. Very good structural condition. Sturdy, functional, and usable chair. Old fabric showing natural wear and a patina consistent with age. A few discreet marks and chips on the wood, particularly at the feet (see photos) unrestored, respecting authenticity.
