For sale: a set of 4 Verner Panton chairs, model System 1-2-3 / 123 for Fritz Hansen, circa 1970s. Vintage edition, equipped with chrome armrests. Remnant of a label referencing the designer on the base of one of the chairs (see photo). An iconic piece of Danish design, it is distinguished by its sculptural 'S' shape and typical circular base made of cast aluminium. • Designer: Verner Panton. • Model: System 1-2-3 (version with armrests). • Period: circa 70s. • Materials: Chrome metal structure, seat and backrest in black faux leather upholstery (not original). Condition: Very good overall condition for a vintage piece (see photos). PLEASE NOTE ONE CHAIR IS DAMAGED AND REQUIRES WELDING WITH THE BASE. Comfortable seat, clean chrome, well-preserved seat.
