The history of Poltrona Frau is also that of the many Italian and international architects and designers who have collaborated with the company over the years. Some have signed a single project, while others have gradually built a longer and more consistent path. Tito Agnoli was born in Lima (Peru) in 1931 and graduated in architecture in Milan. He primarily worked as an industrial designer. He was an assistant to Ponti and De Carli at the Faculty of Architecture in Milan and taught at the Istituto d'Arte in Lissone. He was nominated twice for the Compasso d'Oro award and received the gold medal at NeoCon in Chicago. He began working with Poltrona Frau in 1974, designing models that achieved great commercial success.
