Restored 1960 chest of drawers by Jiroutek in oak with color-block drawers

This restored mid-century modern chest of drawers was designed by Jiroutek and produced in Czechoslovakia in the 1960s. It is one of his most recognizable designs, featuring color-block lacquered drawers in black, white, and pink, contrasting with a solid oak body. The top panel has been sanded, stained, and finished with three coats of hard wax oil for added durability and depth. The other wooden parts have been carefully cleaned and treated with a high-quality wood oil. The chest retains its original character while offering a refreshed mid-century elegance. A functional and collectible example of Czechoslovak modernist furniture.
