Model U453 sideboard by Jiří Jiroutek for Interior Prague, 1960s

Original vintage chest of drawers U453, manufactured in the 1960s by Interier Praha and designed by Jiří Jiroutek. The drawers are made of plastic. This is a stunning example of Czechoslovak mid-century modern design, with unmistakable geometric lines and playful yet minimalist drawer fronts, making it an icon of postwar Czech design. The piece has been partially restored and is in very good condition.
