Set of 6 stoneware cups with a magnificent slightly pyrite glaze in soft colors, ecru, caramel and chocolate, typical material and colors of the 70s. They have a pretty cylinder shape on a foot. They are not signed but I am certain that they are the result of the artisanal work of Jean-Pierre Prud'homme, because I am beginning to know his work on enameling very well and to recognize his ceramics without fail. Jean-Pierre Prud'homme founded with his wife an artisanal pottery workshop in 1971 in Monnaie, working with clay from the Nièvre (Puisaye stoneware). This workshop still exists today (Au grès du vent workshop), it is run by his son Benoît who took over in the 1990s-2000s. These glasses date from the 70s. Five of them are in perfect condition, no cracks or chips but one has a crack on the upper half, still well joined and very barely visible. They measure 10.3 cm in height, 6.8 cm in diameter and each weighs approximately 250 g.
