Nice set of 8 stemmed glasses in enameled stoneware, most likely puisaye stoneware, with charming enameling in soft, natural tones: pinkish beige, light caramel with a white glaze in random shapes. These glasses can also be used as coffee cups or bowls to present a dessert. Their aesthetic is quite raw and this is on purpose: tool marks, small reliefs, enameling of different thicknesses and therefore more or less smooth touch, very slight differences in the shaping. All this testifies to a nice artisanal work of turning and enameling, which is quite similar to the work of pierre lion who produced, in addition to more artistic pieces, utilitarian tableware with this deliberately rustic aspect, highlighting "the handmade" until 1978 when his workshop closed. These glasses probably date from the 50s to 70s when these natural colors and this brutalist aspect were very fashionable. They are in perfect condition, no cracks or chips, all the "marks" mentioned above are original. They measure approximately 11 cm in height, approximately 6.5 cm in diameter. I offer a teapot (with filter) with the same aesthetic, and probably from the same workshop in my shop (type dfkp48pk in the search bar).
