Marble sculpture in the shape of a fish.

A sculpture stylised to represent a fish in profile (resembling a sunfish or a sea bream). The work adopts a modern and minimalist style, playing on the contrast between the roundness of the animal's body and the geometric lines of the tail. The material used is veined grey marble (most likely Bardiglio marble or a similar marbly limestone), polished to reveal the natural patterns of the stone, mounted on a small cubic block of white marble. Some signs of age, generally in good condition.
