White plaster Greek head

White plaster head, life-size, it’s rare. This model is characterised by its strong contrasts in sculpture. The hair is indeed very detailed, with significant depths, while the face is smooth and exudes softness. The face is halfway between realism and simplification of forms, and the style may remind one of the sculptures by François Pompon. It is a very beautiful decorative piece. It is interesting to pair it with an accessory (hat, bow tie…) or to display it alongside the identical black head (available in this shop). Chic and elegant.
