Steel light fixture, 1980

This lamp is a design piece made of braided metal wire, probably stainless steel or aluminum. The technique used is that of weaving or wire wrapped around a structure, which gives it an airy and sculptural appearance. It could be inspired by the work of contemporary designers specializing in metal furniture, including creators like gervasoni or ayala serfaty, who play with light and transparency through innovative materials. It dates from the 80s. It is in good condition, it has a parchment lampshade made by an italian workshop.
