Flat desk in mahogany in the Louis XVI style.

Elegant and refined small mahogany desk, opening at the front with two drawers, the keys are present and functional. 20th century period. Topped with a wooden surface, covered with a leather top in a tawny colour, with golden fillet edges, in good condition. Please note a small defect on the leather, see photo. This lovely desk also features two retractable writing shelves covered in intact tawny brown leather, significantly increasing the workspace. Shelf dimensions: 30 cm each. Length of the desk with the shelves open: 160 cm. Height under the apron: 61 cm. The edges of the drawers are adorned with golden brass strips, adding even more refinement. It rests on a tapered leg with fluting, ending in small gilded bronze feet. Perfect stability. Overall in good condition.
