Here is a beautiful vase with two handles, a traditional cabinetmaker's object characteristic of Eastern Europe: ex-Yugoslavia. Wedding or shepherd's bowl from 1960: a beautifully crafted sculpture: ▪️ solid wood, probably carved from a single piece; Balkan geometric decoration; ▪️ chevron/zigzag borders and triangular openwork panels; stylised plant motifs; ▪️ very characteristic symmetrical shape of Yugoslav folk art.
