Brutalist chairs in pine and straw, France, 1950s, set of 4

Very nice suite of 4 brutalist chairs in solid pine and straw. The pine is brushed to highlight the veining of the wood. We can also note the very beautiful assemblies intentionally left apparent to highlight the raw authenticity of this model. A remarkable example of french craftsmanship of the 50s. The mulching is very well preserved, and despite some solitary strands there is no surface wear. This rustic and sophisticated model will marry as well a bohemian chic atmosphere as a much more modern and minimalist interior. Height: 83.5 cm - width: 42 cm - depth: 43 cm.
