The Copper Tin - Vintage mid Century Swedish Oil painting

A very elegant still life depicting berries around a copper tin with a dome shaped lid. The artist has used a soft, pastel palette to create this finely executed still life, with detailed brushwork that captures the different surfaces that he has chosen to depict. We get a real sense of the light reflecting off the smooth copper tin, as well as the deliciously smooth and soft skins of the berries that surround it. It is beautifully framed in a very well suited decorative frame with ornate moulding. Both painting and frame are in good vintage condition. Size: 41 X 48 cm (including frame).
