Oil on canvas signed by alexandre bonin. Henri marie alexandre bonin (march 11, 1876 – september 7, 1943) was a parisian. Alexandre bonin exhibited in 1927 and 1928 at the salon des indépendants des natures-mortes et des paysages. In 1920 he married jeanne pissarro (known as cocotte, 1881–1948), the daughter of the impressionist painter camille pissarro, and was the father of claude bonin-pissarro.
