Adorable pair of low chairs from the 19th century. Wood and velvet fabric.

Two adorable low chairs in natural wood from the 19th century, elegantly upholstered in royal blue velvet. They rest on beautifully curved legs richly adorned with floral elements carved from the wood. Thus, a flower delicately rests at the top of the two front legs, echoing the one embellished with leaves on the main crossbar. The backrest is also dynamic, punctuated with floral patterns. This charming classicism is enhanced by the almost electric blue of the upholstery, giving them a very contemporary, very dynamic appearance. The seats are webbed (a sign of good quality workmanship) and the velvet is in good condition. Sturdy and perfectly stable, they can serve as extra chairs in a living room or vestibule, for example, but also as bedroom chairs for placing clothes, as they come in pairs. Their small size and somewhat "compact" design give them a presence that is both very feminine and very assertive. There are signs of wear on the wood and velvet, due to the fact that they are antique furniture, but they are in excellent overall condition, ready for use. Sold only as a pair.
