Large table known as a "farm table," but in this case, it comes from a village house and served as a kitchen table... the top is made of four wide alder planks joined with a batten at each end... it is raw and faded from the cleaning done during its use... the legs are made of oak and the crosspieces are made of fir... The whole has retained its original paint, giving it a lovely worn patina... this table has undergone no restoration and has only been well cleaned... It has maintained its authentic state... The height under the crosspiece is 64 cm, allowing for the use of more modern chairs... Origin: Northern France, around 1880/1900.
