Pair of Art Deco wall sconces signed by Jean Noverdy

We are delighted to offer for sale this absolutely exquisite pair of original glass wall sconces stamped Jean Noverdy France Depost from the 1920s with period chrome frames. Each lampshade is signed Noverdy France in the glass. Jean Noverdy, a pupil of Mr. Dubret, created art glass in the 1920s at his own glassworks located in Dijon, using techniques similar to those of Daum Frères, André Delatte, and Muller Freres. These sconces are in excellent period condition with normal patina related to age and use. Dimensions: Height 36 cm, Width 27 cm, Depth 17 cm.
