Pair of Scandinavian conical wall lamps in metal and bakelite, 1950s/1960s

Geometric green-painted metal structures with plastic diffusers, characterised by a distinctive conical profile. Scandinavian production, 1950s/1960s. Made in Scandinavia between the 1950s and 1960s, this pair of wall lamps features a strongly geometric design built around a conical form that widens towards the top. The green-painted metal structure frames the bakelite diffusers, crossed at the front by a slender vertical element. The contrast between the dark green metal and the light, translucent surface of the glass creates a particularly distinctive graphic quality, reflecting the formal experimentation of Nordic lighting design of the period. The original electrical system is in working order; for use outside the European Union, it may need to be adapted to comply with local electrical regulations. Good condition. They may show signs of age. Please pay attention to the photograph. AF872.
