Belle Époque Desk — Carved openwork mahogany, baluster legs

Elegant Belle Époque style desk, circa 1880–1910, in warm red mahogany. Rectangular top with moulded edges, fully carved and pierced frieze featuring acanthus motifs and volutes in high relief. Four turned baluster legs. Uniform patina, healthy wood. Part of a coordinated bedroom set with a marquetry wardrobe with mirror and matching footstools, chest of drawers, and 2 mahogany chairs — available separately or as a set. Solid mahogany, pierced acanthus carving. Turned baluster legs. Belle Époque style, circa 1880–1910. Good condition, uniform patina. Style: Belle Époque / Classic / Haussmannian.
