Italian extendable Louis XV style dining table – 20th century

A classic and functional piece for your interior. This very beautiful solid wood dining table (Louis XV style) charms with its sinuous lines and authenticity. It will be perfect for adding a warm and timeless character to a classic interior or for creating an elegant contrast in a contemporary space. Carefully sculpted details. It rests on four elegant cabriole legs, finished with lovely scroll-shaped feet. The delicately sculpted lower apron features a typical shell motif from the period in its centre. An ultra-practical extension system. Ideal for entertaining, it is equipped with a mechanical extension system "Italian style" (integrated sliding pull-outs under the main tabletop). Very simple to deploy, they allow the table's capacity to be doubled in the blink of an eye without cluttering the space on a daily basis. ✨ General condition: The table is in beautiful vintage condition. The structure is perfectly stable, and the extension system slides very well. The wood has a superb shiny patina. The tabletop shows very light marks and normal signs of use, which testify to its history and add to its charm. Measures 258cm in length when extended.
