Cake server or pie server in silver-plated metal from the Christofle house, Marly model, reference no. 59. The Marly model is among the great classics of French silverware. Inspired by the Louis XV style and the rococo vocabulary of the 18th century, it is distinguished by a richly chiselled decoration of shells, foliage, and asymmetrical scrolls. This emblematic model accompanies the grand Christofle cutlery sets of the 20th century. Service server with a non-cutting triangular blade, equipped with side notches to facilitate serving portions. An antique piece in good used condition, showing normal signs of use visible on the blade. Silver plating is well-preserved. Made in France, produced in the 1980s. Length: 26.5 cm.
