MARTIAL GAUTHIER - SILVER CREAM LADLE

Silver cream ladle in Louis XVI style. Wide and shallow bowl, elongated and violin-shaped handle, decorated with stylised ribbons and twisted fillets on the handle, monogrammed on the back with the letters "AD". French work from the late 19th century, made by the silversmith Martial Gauthier, who worked in Paris between 1888 and 1902, and marked with a Minerva punch. Dimensions - Weight: 84 grams.
