Rare Nippon lamp designed by Simon Henningsen, the son of legendary danish designer Poul Henningsen. Where Poul Henningsen's lighting design tended to difuse any direct view of the light source using horizontal planes, Simon Henningsen used the vertical. The Nippon lamp, named after it's likeness of a rising sun, has a refined and minimalist construction. The lamp has been designed to be used as either a hanging lamp, with any chosen ceiling height or a desk lamp or table lamp. This is a rare lamp that was never produced in great numbers. Original LYFA sticker still intact on the inside of the lamp. Very good condition, slight markings and one or two very light scratches, new 2 metre cable in soft black fabric. Free delivery to all countries of europe.
