Mid-century space style acrylic cube pendant lamp, 1960s

Vintage design. Mid-century suspension in acrylic glass. The design language is very simple and timeless. The lamp is composed of discs that fit into each other with visible projections. The contrast between the dual colour and the structure of the material is striking. From dark transparent purple to translucent white with structure. Particularly playing with transparency. Inside, there is a translucent white cylinder that envelops the lamp. When lit, the cylinder shines through the transparent acrylic plate and adds extra depth to the body of the light fixture. The lamp is in very good condition with signs of use.
