Very old mirror, 19th century, Louis XVI style. Mercury mirror, original. Bicolour wooden and stucco frame, painted in blonde gold and brown/chestnut. Numerous relief decorations of flowers and leaves around the edge. Large Louis XVI style painted stucco pediment. Back in wood, original boards, fixing points. Charming mirror to be repurposed as a decorative element like a painting. Note a partial reflection on several parts of the mirror. Some missing stucco on the frame and colour variations, minimal defects considering its age. Pretty natural patina. 0504001de.
