Beautiful and large beaded mirror - or overmantel of ice - in carved, stuccoed and antiquely re-gilded wood. It is decorated with flowers, acanthus, foliage motifs and rosettes. Italian neoclassical work, probably lombard from the beginning of the 19th century. Original mercury mirror. To place - on the floor or on a piece of furniture - or to hang. High. 154 cm width. 80 cm small scattered gaps in the decor and gilding, various restorations and previously redone parts including possibly the pediment and the falls. Usual wear and tear on the tin which gives it all its charm.
