Superb Directoire period mahogany dining table with eight legs, dating from the early 19th century and measuring 5.40 meters in total length. This beautiful table features eight legs, which is important for its stability given its considerable length. It has tapered legs ending in casters. The table includes four solid mahogany extensions with moldings, plus three white-stained wooden extensions. With its four solid mahogany extensions, the table measures 3.75 meters in length. The table and the four mahogany extensions have been refinished in our workshops. It can therefore be used without a tablecloth. If needed for a large dinner, the three additional extensions can be added, bringing the total length to 5.40 meters and allowing it to seat 22 guests with all seven extensions. The table has been French polished in our workshops and has a superb patina. In perfect condition. The height below the waist is 64.5 cm, allowing for comfortable seating. Rear extensions.
