Superb piece of artistic ceramic in Mid-Century Modern style. This vase with a circular handle was crafted in West Germany by the prestigious Carstens Tönnieshof factory during the 1960s. The base reveals the engraved authenticity markings: the model number "659/25" as well as the official brand logo representing a stylised house. The body of the object features a remarkable glazed decoration with bands and concentric rings in shades of brown, ochre, and textured caramel, subtly imitating the natural grain of wood.
