Vase by Lucien Brisdoux

Very pretty ceramic vase by the French potter Lucien Brisdoux (1878-1963). Lovely play of geometric designs that creates a blurred impression, almost an optical illusion. Signed and numbered under the base. Height 14 cm, diameter 16 cm Lucien Brisdoux is known for his artistic ceramics. He began his work as a ceramist in 1905, when he took over his father Achille Brisdoux's factory. He created his own workshop in 1918 where he was active until 1956. Good overall condition. A small, discreet hairline on the neck that extends slightly.
