Fireplace cradle, wood cradle, fireplace accessory

Back from the flea market, I brought back…... An old fireplace cradle. Very useful accessory for small apartment fireplaces, because it accommodates the logs, while raising them, thus allowing air to circulate around the hearth and therefore facilitates combustion. Beautiful cast iron element, waxed by us. We particularly like its removable plate serving as a pediment. Good condition. Dimensions: length: 38 cm height: 30 cm depth: 24 cm.
