This bench was designed in the 1980s by designer Alain Gaubert (signature on the structure, see photo). It consists of a slatted oak frame and two foam mattresses covered in black linen. Choose a vintage, decorative, and practical piece! We love the patina of the wood that adds authenticity and charm to the model. When folded, this bench provides extra seating to place in a living room, bedroom, or office, and once unfolded, it transforms into a bed with a width of 140 cm. Designer: Alain Gaubert. Condition: this product is in good vintage condition, showing a lovely wood patina and some signs of wear on the wood. Height: 45 cm (total) - 32 cm (unfolded) Length: 190 cm. Depth: 85 cm (folded) - 147 cm (unfolded) Note: there is a difference in mattress depth allowing for the conversion to a bed matching the dimensions of the bench. Purchased for €3, 000 from Galere 44 (with invoice), the product has been cleaned and checked in the restoration workshop, and the foam and fabric of this product have been replaced.
