Vintage design. Very rare clock by Guzzini based on a design by Fabio Lenci from the 1970s. The lamp has a particularly flat design. This design consists entirely of a large barndoor, like those seen in film lights. This gives the lamp a very technical appearance. In contrast to this is the bright red colour of the panels. The barndoor is not a decorative element, but very functional for directing light and dimming the lamp. This allows for the creation of dramatic lighting atmospheres with sharp shadows. There is a particular contrast in the colouring between the barndoor and other elements of the lamp such as the socket, suspension, and ceiling mount. These are chrome in colour. The ceiling mount is particularly elaborate, shaped like a hemisphere. The lamp itself is suspended almost invisibly on a thin steel cable. The cable is guided in loops to relieve tension. There is also a movable cable guide on the cable.
