Coffee Table Model "x" by Jacques Adnet

Coffee table "X" with minimalist shapes, by Jacques Adnet (1900-1984): this table features a 1cm thick glass top with rounded edges on a tubular black lacquered metal base in an X shape, highlighted by golden brass cabochons and, notably, by the rings at the four corners suspended from golden brass balls, which are the designer's signature and give the model its uniqueness. The arrow-shaped brass finish on the four legs also enhances the table's lightness. Jacques Adnet (1900-1984) was an architect, decorator, and designer graduated from the School of Decorative Arts, honoured in 1958 by General de Gaulle after having furnished the private apartments of President Auriol at the Élysée in 1937 and the Majestic Hotel in Cannes in 1950. The glass is original and has some scratches: it can be replaced upon request.
